The Township of North Stormont's waste collection contractor, Environmental 360 Solutions, provides weekly waste collection services to the residents of North Stormont. For inquiries or to report a missed collection, please contact E360S at 613-936-6072.
- Residents may place a maximum of two garbage bags per week for collection, with a maximum weight of 22kg each
- If you need to dispose of additional garbage outside of your regular limit, a tag must be purchased from the Township for each additional garbage bag. Additional Garbage Bag Tags can be purchased for $3 each.
Yard Waste
The Township of North Stormont provides yard waste collection each spring and fall for residents within the village and hamlet limits of Avonmore, Berwick, Crysler, Finch, Monkland, Moose Creek, and Roxborough Gardens. Collection dates vary each year and will be announced in advance. A special Christmas tree collection is also provided each January.
This service is intended for seasonal yard clean-up, including leaves, garden waste, and small branches bundled and tied in bundles no larger than 4 ft x 2 ft. Yard waste must be placed in paper yard waste bags or rigid reusable containers; plastic bags will not be collected. Pumpkins are accepted during the fall collection.
Township crews make one pass through each community during each collection period. All materials must be placed at the curb by the advertised collection date and time, as crews will not return once collection has been completed.
Residents who need to dispose of yard waste outside of the scheduled collection periods, or who live outside the collection area, may take yard waste to the GFL Moose Creek Landfill free of charge year-round.
