Fire Service Water Tanker Shuttle Accreditation
The Township of North Stormont Fire Department has completed a Water Shuttle Tanker Accreditation, in accordance with the standards established by the FPSS Fire Protection Survey Services. The department’s most recent Certificate of Water Shuttle Tanker Accreditation was issued on September 10, 2022.
This accreditation may help eligible residents who live more than 300 metres from a municipal water hydrant qualify for a reduction in their home insurance premiums.
Residents who wish to determine whether they qualify should contact their insurance provider. A copy of the Township’s accreditation certificate is available below and may be provided to your insurance company as supporting documentation.
