TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of North Stormont will hold a public meeting on the 25th day of August 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Township Council Chambers located at 57A Cockburn St., PO Box 40, to consider proposed Zoning By-law Amendments under Section 34 of the Planning Act R.S.O., 1990.
THE PURPOSE of the proposed zoning amendment is to rezone the lands described as Plan 23 Lot 16 Pt Lot 15 RP ; 52R2202 Pt Part 1 Geographic Township of Finch; Township of North Stormont.
1. From “Residential First Density (R1)” to “Residential Second Density – Special Exception 26 (R2-26)”;
THE EFFECT of the proposed amendment is to:
1. Permit the construction of a semi-detached dwelling.
2. Reduce interior side yard setback from 2.0 m to 1.20 m.
