The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) is the public health agency responsible for protecting and promoting the health of residents in the Township of North Stormont. Working in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Health, municipalities, health care providers, schools, businesses, and community organizations, the EOHU delivers a wide range of public health programs and services designed to prevent illness, promote healthy living, and respond to public health emergencies.
Unlike hospitals or medical clinics that provide individual patient care, the EOHU focuses on community-wide public health by helping to prevent disease, reduce health risks, and improve the overall health and well-being of residents.
