Township of North Stormont Reminds Residents of Upcoming Leaf and Yard Waste Collection

2026 Leaf and Yard Waste Reminder
September 18, 2026

NORTH STORMONT, ON – While summer may still be on the calendar, changing leaves across North Stormont are providing an early reminder that fall is just around the corner. The Township of North Stormont is encouraging residents to plan ahead for seasonal yard cleanup activities and upcoming leaf and yard waste collection services.

The Township's annual Leaf and Yard Waste Collection is scheduled for November 2 to 6, 2026. Residents in eligible collection areas are asked to ensure all leaf and yard waste is placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, to guarantee pickup.

Township crews will complete one pass only through each designated village and hamlet. Once collection has been completed in an area, crews will not return. Late set-outs will not be collected.

Residents disposing of pumpkins following Halloween are reminded to remove all decorations, candles, and other non-compostable materials before placing them out for collection.
