PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS
Snow Clearing
Parking lots are to be cleared of snow as required. The areas to be cleared are identified in
blue on the location maps.
Snow is to be piled in the designated areas identified in red on the location maps. Snow is
not to be piled in areas that obstruct access, entrances, fire routes, parking spaces, or other
areas required for the safe operation of the facility.
The snow accumulation threshold that triggers snow removal is specified in the locationspecific
requirements.
Shovelling
Designated access doors, sidewalks and walkways are to be cleared of snow and ice as
required. The areas requiring shovelling are identified in orange on the location maps.
Salting
All areas cleared of snow are to be salted as required.
PRICING
Pricing is to be provided separately for each location on a per-trip basis. Contractors may
submit quotations for one or more locations, and each location may be awarded individually.
SUBMISSION CLOSING
Submissions will be received until 11:30 am (local time) on Friday, October 23, 2026. This time and date will be considered the official closing of the RFQ.
SUBMISSION OPENING
Submissions will be opened by Municipal Staff following the official closing. In order to
ensure all submission requirements are met, submissions will not be opened in a public
forum.
