BERWICK, Ontario - The Township of North Stormont is initiating a Schedule C Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) study for the proposed expansion of the existing Moose Creek Wastewater Treatment Lagoon (WWTL).
The WWTL is currently operating at 80% of its rated capacity and has had difficulty meeting its effluent limits in recent years. The Master Service Plan (MSP) of 2024 identified the need for increased treatment capacity and efficiency at the WWTL.
