🚒 North Stormont Fire Department is Coming to Your Neighbourhood! 🚒
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, members of the North Stormont Fire Department will be taking part in our Boots on the Ground Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Awareness Campaign.
Firefighters will be going door-to-door in select neighbourhoods to help ensure residents have: ✅ Working smoke alarms
✅ Working carbon monoxide alarms
✅ The proper number of alarms installed in their home
✅ Important information to help keep their families safe
Did you know? Most fire-related fatalities occur at night when everyone is asleep. Working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms provide the early warning needed to help you and your loved ones get out safely.
When firefighters visit, take a few moments to speak with them about fire safety and alarm requirements. Together, we can make our community safer for everyone.
