The Township of North Stormont’s municipal election is occurring on Oct. 26, 2026.
- Nomination Period: Friday, May 1, 2026 (8:30 am) to Friday, August 21, 2026 (2:00 pm)
- Third Party Registration: Monday, May 1, 2026 (8:30 am) to Friday, October 23, 2026 (4:30 pm)
- Deadline for Withdrawal of Nominations: Friday, August 21, 2026 (2:00 pm)
- Election Day: Monday, October 26, 2026 (voting ends at 8:00 pm)
Elections Ontario is responsible for maintaining the Permanent Register of Electors for Ontario, commonly known as the Voters' List. To vote in an upcoming Municipal Election, you must be on the Voters' List. Confirm, update or add your information through Election Ontario's RegisterToVoteON.ca. Your name must be on the Voters' List to cast a ballot. Make Sure You are on the Voter’s List!
Residents and property owners will be able to cast their vote in the Municipal and School Board Elections from anywhere with internet access or telephone service. This means eligible voters will have the ability to vote from the comfort of their own home or on the go.
