TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of North Stormont will hold a public meeting in the Township Council Chambers located at 57A Cockburn Street, Berwick, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the municipality’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law and underlying background study.
All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed D.C. by-law and background study. The meeting is to be held:

Council Chambers - 57A Cockburn Street, Berwick
In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the background study is being made available online at the municipality’s website (www.northstormont.ca) on January 27, 2026. Copies of the proposed D.C. by-law and the background study are also being made available as of March 5, 2026 from the municipal Clerk at the above location or by calling (613) 984-2821.
Interested persons may express their comments at the public meeting or in writing, addressed to the Municipal Clerk, at the above address prior to March 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION related to the proposed amendment is available during normal office hours at the Township of North Stormont Office, located at 57A Cockburn Street, Berwick, ON or by contacting planning@northstormont.ca.
