Please see the link below for information on HASCAP programming announced today by the Government of Canada for businesses in sectors that have been highly affected by COVID-19.
Assistance is a government-guaranteed, low-interest loan of up to $1M. Eligible businesses must show YOY revenue decline of at least 50% in 3 months, within the 8 months prior to their application to the program. Companies must have previously applied for either CEWS or CERS.
Applications open February 1st at principal financial institutions, and February 15th at a wider group of financial institutions. Companies are encouraged to contact their primary lender for information and to apply.
